Dear Friends
To receive an invitation creates lots of energizing emotions.
- I am valued by the sender.
- He knows and cares about me.
- Wants me in a position where I can experience His love and presence.
- He desires to share a unique experience with me”.
Christmas 2023 is an invitation – from the Creator of earth and countless signs in vast atmospheres displaying His glory – to exactly the same bullets above…
Summarised – invited into a specific position / situation – in the TRINITY!
Invited to :
- Become one with the Trinity – Their life, power and love flowing through all of us.
- To have the same heart and mind of the Trinity’s – to feel and think like God.
- Receive, experience and exercise the same glory that the Father gives the Son.
- Be a dwelling in whom the Trinity lives. My very body – so much more than flesh, bones and blood. My blood is saturated with the blood of Jesus.
- Loved with the same endless love – and to love others the same way that the Father has for the Son.
- Live with Jesus 24/7 in heaven after and before we die. Me and God in constant intimate fellowship.
From this position in the Trinity – we shall change the world – not with what we say or do – very simply just by who we are. From any other position – no disciplemaking. From this position – children and grandchildren as many as the stars in the sky or the sand of the sea – countless generations. God does the work Himself!
The contents of this kind of living? To minimize this to: ”if you repent you will go to heaven” is a gross understatement – degenerating Christmas to a 99c offer at Shoprite. Rather “who/how God is and what He does – and what we are invited to”.
Even if Jesus is born a 1000 times in Bethlehem – but not in your heart – the invitation is only to hear jingle bells, see father Christmas on his sleigh in snow (in Africa), joyfully (makeshift) singing carols and opening crackers.
To accept this invitation and allow Jesus to pull us into the Trinity – real CHRISTmas.
