Spiritual Formation retreat Zambia

Kingfisher offered a Spiritual Formation retreat in Ndola, Zambia from 31 August till 5 September. 14 Participants reflected on the topic : “Living intimately with Jesus in His Kingdom”. 

We touched the three core principles of disciple-making : Being with Jesus, Becoming like Jesus and Doing what Jesus did.

These three cornerposts reflect a definitive progression – the more you spend time with Jesus through the spiritual disciplines, the more you will automatically become like Jesus and organically you will then start repeating His lifestyle and do what He did – even greater things. We have no control over becoming like Jesus and doing what He did – but we have 100% control over spending time with Jesus.

The challenge is to intentionally live in the Kingdom – under His authority and in His presence – to make God part of your mindflow 24/7.

Retreatants – many of them doing online spiritual Formation courses with Kingfisher for a few years already – spend time in silence, solitude and group discussions – energised to live with Jesus more intimately. This retreat is open to anybody who is part of the online programme and will be repeated in Lilongwe and Nairobi later in the year.
